A very cool feature that is offered in the newer versions of Microsoft Word (as of this writing 2007 and the upcoming 2010) is one called Styles. It allows you to create a custom format for your document that changes things such as titles, text body, and even the color of the titles and text body. You can create your own styles or use the default ones that Microsoft has provided for you. Go ahead and check out the article about how you can use Styles in Microsoft Word 2007.
Probably one of the top five improvements with Windows 7 is the advancement in search features. Microsoft has realized starting with Windows Vista that search is a very important part in the everyday lives of people using computers. The Windows 7 Product Guide does an excellent job at explaining these new features available in Windows 7 relating to searching.
I’m pretty sure there are a few of you out there that have wondered what the difference between XPS and PDF formats are. Both of them are a type of document format that were designed for creating and viewing documents on a computer. So what is the differences between the two formats?
Another nice utility application that you can use if you do not prefer using a paid program is one called Glary Utilities. I currently use the program and is divided up into many different parts for computer maintenance.

So I decided to do my first product review today on something that is rather new and only been available since August or September 2009. It was created by Hewlett-Packard and is called the HP SimpleSave External Hard Drive Collection.

You may be just trying to find one little thing on the entire page but reading the whole thing can take a long time if not hours or days. So how can you find what you are looking for on a specific page faster?

A very good antivirus tool that I used to use about a few years ago was one called avast! Antivirus. The interface in version 4 looked something like you would see in a multimedia program. Kind of like a skinned music player from Windows Media Player. The program did good but it just felt somewhat awkward to operate in my opinion.

Backing up your computer is one of the most important things that you can do. It’s definitely not the most favorite or most interesting thing to do on a computer but it’s definitely critical to perform. A disaster can strike at any time and always being prepared and keeping your important files backed up will make your life easier.
